STAR Flight
A new exhibit in the Hall of Government explores the history of STAR Flight, the public safety air rescue program run by Travis County. STAR (“Shock Trauma Air Rescue”) Flight began in 1985 as a joint program involving Travis County, the City of Austin, and Brackenridge Hospital.
