Donated to Travis County in 1939, Selma Hughes Park is a small 5-acre neighborhood park on the north shore of Lake Austin.  Selma Hughes was the mother of Fritz Hughes and Tom Hughes, who also have parks named after them in Travis County. The Hughes lived in the Marshall Ford area near Lake Travis.
