Scope and Contents of the Materials
Recordings of interviews with individuals who have played an important role in the historical development of Travis County or have unique insight into such history. These recordings are a product of the Travis County Archives Oral History Project.
Biographical Note
The Archives was established through the FY09 budget and is a division of the Records Management and Communication Resources (RMCR) department.
The Archives seeks to document the functions and activities of the Travis County government, support the conduct of the government by preserving and providing access to essential county records, and maintain the history of the county and its community through the preservation of records with historical value.
